May General Member Meeting

Guest Speaker Gina Schlagel will share regarding VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which is a nonprofit vision rehabilitation and social service organization founded in 1926. VISIONS purpose is to develop and implement individualized programs to assist people who are blind and visually impaired of all ages to lead independent and active lives, and to educate the public to understand their capabilities and needs.

Dual Service Projects

This month we will have two service projects:

1-We're celebrating Mother's Day early with our service project.  We're collecting Mother's Day presents for Safe Horizon's clients.  Requested items include: spa/bath gift sets, popular novels (new), journals, robes, and slippers.  We're also requested craft sets that moms can do with their children. Buy on AMAZON;  and

2-Share the gift of vision by donating unused eyeglasses. Bring the eyewear to the meeting for collection by our guest speaker from VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
