President

Dawn is a practicing attorney who loves helping people.  Being a member of Soroptimist allows her to assist her community and meet a diverse group of wonderful women with the same interests. When she's not practicing law you can find her spinning, crafting, and catching up on Netflix.

TINA BILCHER-MURPHY

President Elect

A Soroptimist Member since 2015, a member of the BOD since 2017 and currently serving as our Corresponding Secretary. A personal Stylist and Women’s foundation wear professional she is otherwise known as The Bra Lady. Married to Craig Murphy and about to celebrate 15 years of marriage, they have 2 sons and 5 fur babies and live in Huguenot. Active in her community and Church, she also serves on the BSA committee as fundraising chair for Troop 5 Our Lady Star of the Sea.  Her hobbies include scrapbooking and crafting and while she has a flair and passion for cooking, baking is definitely NOT her forte.

JENNIFER BOLLINGER

Treasurer

Jennifer has been a Soroptimist member since 2019. She enjoys being part of an organization that helps women and girls achieve success. Jennifer graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and currently is an insurance underwriter. When she has free time, she loves to travel, bike ride, cook, entertain and spend time with her two grandchildren.

MARIA ESPOSITO

Recording Secretary

Maria joined Soroptimist in 2022.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in the field of community mental health on Staten Island for 20 years.  She is currently with Richmond University Medical Center as a psychotherapist in a high school health center.  Maria was born and raised on Staten Island.  She has also lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn but returned to her home borough 25 years ago to purchase a home and start a family.  She has a deep desire to effect positive change for women in her community, the country and the world.  She has been married to her husband Don for 23 years, and together they have raised a daughter whom they have helped empower to live her dreams.  Maria's hobbies include skiing, taking long walks, and dining in many of Staten Island's fantastic eateries with friends, old and new.  She is very excited to be a part of an organization that so effectively, passionately, and creatively helps women and girls to realize their potential.

LAUREN AQUINO

Corresponding Secretary

A Soroptimist since 2018, Lauren is now in her second term as corresponding secretary.  She has commandeered our website and social media but is always looking for assistance!  Along with her sister, she is the third generation to run her family's independent insurance agency.  She is passionate about empowering women entrepreneurs, supporting Staten Island businesses and cultural institutions, and all things Harry Potter.

STACIE KOUTRAS

Stacie joined Soroptimist Int'l of Staten Island in 2021.  She is the current president of the Staten Island Business Council and an active member of Richmond County Kiwanis and SI Chamber of Commerce as well as the owner of Elan Hair and Nails.  She is a native Staten Islander, born in Rosebank and now lives and is very active in the community of West Brighton.  Stacie joined Soroptimist to help improve and empower women in the community who aren’t always seen.  In her spare time she is busy cooking or enjoying one of her many hobbies including scuba diving or archery.  You can also catch her on her cooking tik tok channel or her podcast, Sipping Wine and Spilling Tea. archery.  You can also catch her on her cooking tik tok channel or her podcast, Sipping Wine and Spilling Tea.

Jody Hagemann

JODY HAGEMANN

Jody Hagemann (named after Jody Foster) joined SI of Staten Island in April 2021.  However, her family has a long history with Soroptimist as her grandmother was a founding member of the Staten Island Club.  When she's not at work as the Sr. Director, Sales Development at Comcast Business she is busy improving the lives of women and girls in our local community through mentorship and other activities.

ANGIE DEPOMPO SEFF

Alternate Delegate

Angie has been a Soroptimist for at least 15 years, currently on the BOD.  She was on the BOD of Snug Harbor and American Cancer. She started Angie DePompo Court Reporting over 30 years ago and just recently semi-retired from.

She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce over 25 years helping with their annual dinner dance..Angie was President of the SI Ballroom Association which is her favorite hobby besides tennis. Angie loves spending time with her 9

 grandchildren.
