CAROL ANN BENANTI

A Brooklyn College alum, Carol Ann is a board member of the Iron Hills Civic Association and a member of the National association of Italian-American Women. She has been recognized by a number of charitable and civic organizations including the Emergency Children's Help Organization, New Direction Services, the Iron Hills Civic Association, the Pakistani Association of Staten Island, the Miss Staten Island Scholarship Pageant Association, North Star Lions Club, the Visiting Nurse Association of Staten Island, the World of Women, NYC Arts Cypher, and the St Padre Pio of Pietrelcina Society.Â
She was presented with the Italian-American Heritage Award by then Borough President James P. Molinaro.Â
Carol Ann was a recipient of the DaVinci Society of Wagner College's Service Award.Â
She was the recipient of the Fourth Estate Award from the American Legion's National Public Relations Commission present to an individual, publication, or broadcast organization for outstanding achievement in the field of journalism.Â
She resides in Dongan Hills with her husband Anthony. Together they are parents of two sons, Joseph and Anthony, and grandparents to Joseph Sebastian, Everett Jon, and Vivian Rae.
